Communion in the United Church of Canada is celebrated at an open table. This means that there is no restriction regarding age or United Church membership. Communion is open to young children as well as Christians from other denominations. All are welcome!
Communion at Grey St. UC is celebrated 5 or 6 times a year, usually the first Sunday of a new liturgical (church) season.
Communion is celebrated at the communion table at the front of the sanctuary, where the minister blesses the bread and wine before it is shared with the congregation.
